Welcome to Sesayè, where sophisticated living meets haute inspiration. Founded in March 2024, our goal is to bring you the best and freshest takes in the world of fashion journalism.

In our eyes, the it girl is made up of a few core tenets: a strong sense of fashion, a love for aesthetics and getting dolled up, and a lifestyle that allows her to reach even the loftiest of her goals.

Fashion is an art form that allows each of us to individually express and portray ourselves to the world. Looking at different textiles, observing different trends in fashion, and creating unique looks in a way that emphasizes quality is a key value to us. Craftsmanship and textiles are especially important, and when combined with the right color palette and statement pieces, you can create showstopping looks, even on a budget.

It girls are smart, refined, polished, and caring towards others. Reaching your goals and being your best self are paramount, and they require discipline and consistency.   • As Creative Director, you will lead the creative vision for Sesayé, ensuring our brand stands out in an oversaturated space. You will work closely with our Editor-in-Chief and Brand Marketing Director to develop innovative content strategies, oversee design elements, and maintain a cohesive brand aesthetic across all platforms. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in defining the future of Sesayé and bringing our brand ethos to life. While this is currently an unpaid position, it comes with a permanent spot on our founding team, meaning you’ll be an integral part of Sesayè’s future growth and success.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO

    • Develop and execute the creative direction for Sesayé across all visual and editorial platforms.

    • Oversee branding, photography, design, and overall storytelling to ensure consistency and innovation.

    • Collaborate with our Editor-in-Chief to conceptualize and produce high-quality content, including print and digital materials.

    • Lead creative campaigns for product launches, social media, and marketing initiatives.

    • Direct and mentor a growing creative team, fostering a culture of originality and excellence.

    • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging aesthetics, and cultural moments to keep Sesayé at the forefront of fashion and design.

    • Manage creative budgets, timelines, and external partnerships (e.g., photographers, designers, illustrators).

    WHO YOU ARE

    • A creative visionary with a strong background in fashion, design, or editorial storytelling.

    • Experienced in branding, art direction, and content creation, with a portfolio that reflects a refined and innovative aesthetic.

  • We're looking for an Editorial Marketing Director to help bridge the gap between content and audience growth, ensuring our editorial vision reaches the right people in the right way. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves fashion and journalism and wants to have the chance to shape the brand’s marketing direction. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that amplify Sesayè’s editorial content, increase audience engagement, and build brand partnerships. While this is currently an unpaid position, it comes with a permanent spot on our founding team, meaning you’ll be an integral part of Sesayè’s future growth and success.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO

    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to grow Sesayè’s audience, engagement, and brand presence.

    • Optimize content distribution across social media, newsletters, and SEO.

    • Oversee brand messaging to ensure alignment with editorial themes and voice.

    • Identify and execute strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations.

    • Work closely with the editorial team to amplify content through marketing-driven storytelling.

    • Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies for maximum audience growth.

    • Pitch and execute creative marketing campaigns that blend content with brand strategy.

    WHO YOU ARE

    • Background in Marketing, PR, Brand Strategy, or Digital Media.

    • Experience in content marketing, partnerships, and audience growth

    • Passion for fashion, culture, and editorial storytelling.

    • Strong knowledge of social media trends, influencer marketing, and content strategy.

    • Strategic thinker with a creative and analytical mindset.

    • Comfortable working in a startup-like environment with flexibility and initiative.

You'll create engaging design work that represents our brand across various touchpoints, from digital to print. If you’re a creative mind with a strong design sense and a passion for building a brand from the ground up, this is the role for you. While this is currently an unpaid position, it comes with a permanent spot on our founding team, meaning you’ll be an integral part of Sesayè’s future growth and success.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO

    • Design assets for digital and print materials, including social media posts, web design, and print publications.

    • Work closely with the Creative Director and Editorial team to ensure design consistency across all platforms.

    • Assist in creating design templates and brand guidelines.

    • Help bring Sesayé’s brand identity to life through design-driven storytelling.

    • Stay up to date with design trends and innovations.

    YOUR SKILLS

    • Proven experience as a Brand Designer, Graphic Designer, or similar role.

    • Strong proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, etc.).

    • A keen eye for aesthetics and detail.

    • Experience with branding, typography, layout, and color theory.

    • Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment.
